Fanalistas was founded in 2011 by lifelong sports fans who were fed up of reading bland news and opinions by so-called “experts”. Our aim is to create an altogether more enticing online experience by:

• Providing a platform for real experts (fans) to express their opinions, and write stories that matter to them.
• Creating an outlet for fans of teams which are routinely overlooked by mainstream media.
• Building a community for fans whose intelligent debates are routinely overrun by forum bullies.

At Fanalistas, we don’t think that a single person should decide what’s “newsworthy”. Instead, we believe that fans should set the agenda. The more a story is read, commented on or shared, the more prominently it will feature on the site. We will be adding new features and formats as the site develops. In the meantime we encourage all fans out there to sign up, get involved and experience the excitement of being able to create your own news!
